Jason is still listed as a missing person as of January 2014, but the two men mentioned in the description with whom he left admitted to drugging and murdering Jason, dismembering his body and scattering the remains in garbage dumpsters throughout Tampa. They have not been able to get a death certificate because of the absence of a body, but will most likely do so once the murder convictions are followed-through.
