Circumstances: Virginia was last seen leaving her mother's residence with her two sons, Richard and Reagan Uden (also missing), in the vicinity of the 700 block of North Federal Court in Riverton, WY. Their vehicle was later located in the Wind River Canyon area in Fremont County, WY. Blood, believed to belong to one of the boys, was found inside the vehicle. They were believed to have been traveling to the boys' adoptive father's residence.

Ex husband confessed to killing her and the boys.
There are no bodies. Without any bodies there is no proof that they are dead and that he killed them. I don't buy his confession. Plus the cops hounded him down more than any body else for a suspect instead of searching out side the family for a suspect. How critical is that. I believe they were forcing him to say that he did it. Might I remind you there is no proof of dead bodies or evidence that links this case to him.
if you really want to get critical. She was traveling from state to state. Any body can travel from state to state, run into people, harm and or snatch off with people. So you don't know if she ran into strangers whom nay have hurt and/or abducted any of the 3 victims in this case.
